Fairfield Woods Middle School PTSA – Please Join Us!

To Our Fairfield Woods Community,

Welcome to a new year at Fairfield Woods Middle School! We look forward to starting a another wonderful year with you all, particularly those of you who are brand new to Woods.

As Presidents of the FWMS Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA), we hope that you have received information regarding the on-line Directory and Membership Drive.  We would love to get 100% participation and we encourage everyone to join. The PTSA supports all of the students and staff members at FWMS. Fundraising efforts are used to offer activities for students and families, teacher grants and enhancements to the school, such as the beautiful mural in the main entrance to the school, the monitors in the cafeteria, and the May 2017 refreshing make-over of the Teacher Lounge.

We have one major fundraiser during the year, our Walk-a-thon, which is scheduled for October 6, 2017! Stay tuned to your email blasts and the FWMS PTSA website & Facebook page (Fairfield Woods Middle School Community Group [PTSA sponsored]) for additional information and volunteer opportunities. There are many opportunities to volunteer, from one-and-done activities to more long-term roles, such as committee representatives, book fair, and more! Check out our calendar and volunteer link on the FWMS PTSA website for more information about upcoming events and opportunities.

We look forward to meeting you at one of the upcoming Open Houses (September 13 for grade 6 & September 28 for grades 7-8) or one of our PTSA meetings. The first PTSA Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 24 at 7pm in the library. We thank you in advance for your support. Feel free to email us with questions/concerns at: 2016fwmsptapres@gmail.com. (We stayed on for an extra year, so please disregard the 2016!)

Warm Regards,

Trudi Durrell
